OxyGuard EasyCal
…for the quick and precise calibration of OxyGuard dissolved oxygen probes
The OxyGuard EasyCal permits the IN-SITU calibration of OxyGuard dissolved oxygen probes without the need for measuring temperature or referring to tables. Just place the probe in the holder, return it to the water and switch the EasyCal on. The EasyCal pumps air down to the probe, and after about 25 seconds the output of the probe will have stabilized to the saturation value. The DO measurement system can then be calibrated to the correct calibration value, which is shown on the EasyCal display.
No waiting for temperature equalizing, no uncertainty as to the correct calibration value. The whole process takes just a few minutes, and the result is very accurate - calibration takes place at the actual operating temperature.
NB: There are some OxyGuard units that are always calibrated to 101% sat, and that convert the %sat measurements to correct mg/l (ppm) measurements. A version of the EasyCal without display is found for use with these.
