Custom IMF UV application for the treatment of 15,000 gpm (3 x 5,000 gpm units) to a dose rate of 35,000 uw-sec/cm3 for the treatment of Furunulosis and Ich. Custom FRP application with inlet and outlet channels and dual contact chambers.
River intake filtration system for 1,500 gpm prior to introduction to hatchery. System included a Hydrotech drum filter for solids removal upstream of the IMF UV system. UV included 2 banks of 14 lamps with multiple switching to allow for varied use of lamp banks to achieve required dose rate at multiple flows.
The WMT Combi System is an integrated packaged unit that encompasses Hydrotech drum filtration and UV treatment in a single FRP tank system. UV inserts can be designed to meet the application requirements.
Hatchery intake filtration system for 2500 gpm (2 x 1250 gpm treatment systems). System included Hydrotech Disc Filters for solids removal upstream of IMF – UV contact chambers. Each UV chamber was rated for 1250 gpm with a UV dose rate up to 90,000 uw-sec/cm2. System utilized PLC control systems with flow pacing and UV transmissivity meters.
WMT IMF RAS Systems have the option to integrate UV systems into the filter body as shown. Integrated IMF UV systems can be designed to meet any application.
IMF and Custom UV for
Large Flow Applications
WMT can custom engineer UV applications to meet almost any requirement. WMT's IMF UV is low head, modular and scalable. The IMF is ideal for intake to fish hatcheries or in reuse or recycle systems. We offer UV systems in many configurations, from IMF UV units coupled with Hydrotech Microscreen filters for intake filtration or RAS, to custom drop-in units to match to existing infrastructure such as concrete inlet head channels at state and federal hatcheries. WMT UV systems can be fabricated in Aluminum, Stainless Steel, FRP and PVC. Please contact WMT with your custom UV requirements.
Standard UV Products
WMT offers a full line of standard "barrel style" UV’s in multiple configurations. From small units with basic control panels for small applications such as university research systems and backyard hobbyists, to stainless steel units with PLC control including UV intensity meters, temperature probes for thermal cutout, and multiple monitoring and alarm functions. UV units come in many physical layouts and configurations, including horizontal, vertical, U-shaped, and end inlet models.
