Recirculating Aquaculture Systems (RAS) provide for the culture of aquatic organisms in systems that allow proper control of appropriate rearing parameters while minimizing the amount of new water required. Reduction of new water allows RAS systems to use fewer natural resources and reduces the risk of exposure to pathogens and diseases.

They can be located closer to the markets they serve. RAS systems typically incorporate solids removal, biofiltration, gas management control (CO2 removal and O2 injection) along with UV or ozone treatment.

See example?of the RAS systems we installed at Sealand, Ed Weed, and Southern States.
